More than slightly misleading headline by you, though. Methadone is not heroin.
that is correct, methadone is certainly not heroin. Methadone, as it turns out, is a substance used to treat a heroin addiction. This post was a play on that: If the UN wants to buy methadone, that may insinuate that they are treating heroin users. If you click on the link, you will see it clearly states that the methadone is to be used to treat HIV patients. This came as bit of a surprise to me honestly because I didn't know that was part of the treatment but that's neither here nor there. Yes the headline is misleading, it is supposed to be, I don't think people are using heroin at the UN, I have no reason to believe that H has any place in the entrire UN system. It was a joke, albeit a bad one, a joke nonetheless.
